PASTOR & First Lady
Elder Fitz Herbert Kirton provides spiritual leadership to members of our church; provides care and counseling to church members and assist them in crisis situations. He celebrates over 30 years of pastoral duty and continues to lead his congregation according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. He is ably supported and assisted by his wife, Sis. Monica Kirton who also serves as the Treasurer of the Missionary Department.
Sister Monica Holloway
Church Secretary
A passionate Missionary, Sunday School teacher and an inspirational spiritual guide, Monica Holloway plays a vital part in our church. As Church Secretary, she oversees the operation of the church office and assists the pastors and staff with a variety of administrative duties. She also works alongside Minister Priscilla Walkes in the Missionary Department, teaching person's about God's love; and testifying of His goodness.
Minister Julian Gibson
ASSISTANT PASTOR
Minister Julian Gibson has been inspiring our community since joining the congregation in 1977. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the church, especially our Bible Study and Prayer Ministry. He oversees the Men's Fellowship Department which disciples and deploys men to live for Christ in their marriages, families, work, church, world and personal lives.
Deacon Stephen Hope
Church Treasurer
Deacon Stephen Hope has been a member of Evangel Tabernacle for more than 20 years, and has served within the Men's Fellowship Department, as well as held the Treasurer position. His cool demeanor and dedication to service supports his commitment to the responsible handling and care of the churches funds.
Minister Sherilyn Cordice
President - Young People's Holy Association (YPHA)
Minister Sherilyn is passionate about helping young people connect with God, find their place in the church community, and develop their faith in a way that's relevant to their lives. Her goal in the Youth Arm is to get to know persons and work together to make the ministry a place where everyone feels loved, supported, and empowered to grow in the Lord. She also teaches the Elementary & Primary Sunday School Class; and assists in the Church's Online Ministry.
Minister Priscilla Walkes
President - Missionary Department
Minister Priscilla Walkes has a deep love for sharing the Christian faith and providing assistance to those in need. She sees it as a vital space for members to live according to Matthew 28:19-20; and grow in their faith and relationship with God. She believes in the power of community, and seeing the church family supporting one another. Minister Priscilla has been actively involved in the Missionary Department at the church for many years. She is passionate about equipping God's people to live out their faith in all areas of their lives.
Minister Sandra Gibson
Sunday School Superintendent
As Sunday School Superintendent, Minister Sandra Gibson is responsible for ensuring each Sunday school class has a qualified teacher; and for the training of new teachers to the team. She also holds the position of Assistant Secretary, providing support for the Church Secretary as required. Minister Sandra plays a crucial role in the spiritual life at Evangel Tabernacle in both roles.
Minister Ricardo Robinson
President - Men's Fellowship Department
Minister Ricardo Robinson is a man who deeply and sincerely loves the Word of God, and the Lord. His passion is for men to come to an understanding of who they really are - in their roles and responsibilities. His pray is for men to understand their authority; and set godly examples for the Word of God to be seen in them. Minister Ricardo is a family man, and a self-employed landscaper by profession.
